The past few days we have shared adventures with our friend Skylar!
One of Hamp and Sam's bestest friends, Skylar has enjoyed playing with the kids next door:
(too bad we didn't get him a tie-dye tee shirt, too!)
and walking Hamp to school in the morning:
and best of all, playing football in the back yard with Hamp:
(this kid can throw, I tell you!)
Despite being only 13 days older than Sam, Skylar likes having Hamp around as a surrogate big brother who will play ball with him.
Sam thinks that's fine, though - he'll just play the role of "coach":
(that's his "coaching stick"...???)

You may (or may not!) be wondering where that nice, new child-sized football came from... or perhaps why we adopted our friends' kid for a few days.
Well, the ball was a gift to Skylar from his brand-spankin' new baby brother! And while mom & dad delivered and recovered in the hospital the past few days, Skylar stayed with us. The best part is that it was the perfect excuse to go meet baby Troy and introduce him to his new big brother!
Always something fun going on at the Etheridge/Hightower home!!! Sweet tie dye shirts! You know I love some tie dye! We just did some new tie dye mickey shirts for our upcomming trip to Disney.
ReplyDeleteMiss and love you all!
